By configuring Azure DevOps Server Proxy, you can reduce the bandwidth connectivity needed across the globe. Its purpose is to download TFVC files and Work Item attachments from the local network without needed to fetch from a central server.

Prerequisites to the configuration:
- You should have Team Project Collection.
Steps for configuring Team Foundation Server Proxy:
1.On Team Foundation Administration Console, Select Proxy server and click on Configure installed features.
2.Click on Start wizard.
3.Read the Welcome screen, and then click on Next.
4.Under Team Project Collection, Select Browse, and then select the project collection and connect then click on Next.
5.Provide service account Username and Password and Test for Validation. Then click on Next.
6.In Port, default value of 8081, In Cache Root Directory, accept the default value, or enter the path of a different location in which to store cache files and click on Next.
7. On the Review page, review the settings and click on Verify for the readiness Checks.
8. Select Configure for the wizard to apply configuration settings and select Next.
9. Click on Close the Azure DevOps Server Administration Console will appear.
10. Proxy Configuration Complete.
