Canarys Dynamics Team is all excited and geared up to commence work on NAV Version Migration project for a prestigious group in Malaysia.
The migration of artifacts from Navision 3.10 to NAV 2013 R2 brings its own set of challenges and it requires a deep domain insight to address DB Schema Changes, Schema dependencies, user privileges, age of objects and complexity of customization. The migration ecosystem – COM (Canarys Object Migration) and CDM (Canarys Data Migration) models – are evolving continuously through challenges, tracking time and effort estimation within limits and giving us edge over the competition. Few challenges like, digging up such an old version [3.10 was released in the year 2001-2002] for the standard localized database for Asia Pac, multiple step migration through the several NAV versions leveraged our implementation strategy. This platform prepares the team's integrity to meet the vital deadlines from start without undercutting their confidence.
When we spoke to a migration team member, and asked her to share her views, she reports “Going through the execution process has definitely added some key pointers to our immense experience in the NAV migration space. Our team is very proud about the fact that, we could put up a good show during the pre-sales as well as the execution phases with equal composure”. She concluded with something which we are familiar with already, “Our migration tools are our weapons to kill, not our competitors, but the competition itself.”
